Palm Sunday, also known as the Triumphal Entry, commemorates Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem, as described in the New Testament (Matthew 21:1-11, Mark 11:1-11, Luke 19:28-44, John 12:12-19).

Palm Sunday marks the beginning of Passion Week, leading up to Jesus' crucifixion and resurrection.
